The ultimate goal is to create a Manual for Artistic Intervention in the School Setting: Practices and Methodologies that compiles learnings and methods so that they can later be replicated.
ARECA thus promotes a sustainable approach, building a legacy for the future by leaving knowledge transfer tools that enable replicability.
Accompanying the project from a perspective of analysis and critical reflection on the Public School and the role of artists and the arts in education and cultural democratisation is one of ARECA’s central objectives.
To this end, we work with a team of sociologists from the ISCTE university institute. This team focuses on action research, non-formal education and the monitoring and evaluation of projects and social outcomes, and will ultimately write scientific articles supporting the conclusions drawn from this process.
